SF MoMA is one of the most elite and prestigious Modern Art Museum in the world. It is regarded as ground zero for trendsetting art innovation. Boasting a whopping 650,000 annual visitors, SF MoMA has had to integrate many new systems in order to maintain their reputation and provide visitors the best experience possible.

I took inventory of every possible interaction with a user/visitor the museum provides. These interaction points, referred to as touchpoints, will be my area of focus for improvements/redesigns. Below is a flow narrative which shows in order which touchpoints a user may approach their visit to SF MoMA.

These triad highlight words associated with the museum and the experience as a whole. The words serve as a reference for design inspiration and as a check to see if a design is staying true to the overall ideas/feelings the museum already fosters.

Elevator Pitch

"The SF MoMA is an experience which enables visitors to learn more about modern art in an immersive and cohesive way. Unlike the DeYoung Museum, the MoMA aims to be innovative in their approach to education by taking advantage of the diverse technological resources the Bay Area has to offer."

Proto Personas
